Breathe

(trees) do not
ask why are we here
stand bend-not-
break stoic
(bud, leaf, fruit-flower falling)
year by year by year

A tree-themed shadorma for Jane’s weekly challenge.

We are possible in layers

can change me—past clothes,
curtains, blind-
slats, glass, sky,
rose-cloud, geese in slanting flight,
fat snowflakes, swirling

A shadorma attempt for Jane’s weekly challenge.
