A new form for me–this is a series of three. Learn about the tilus, see the painting, and join the fun at Jane’s Poetry Challenge #42.

Yes, I think I will do some more experimenting with the form. Thanks for reading!

This is beautiful. I like how you mixed thoughts, dreams, impressions, and color with the reality of horses, hooves, and fields. More interconnections. 🙂

Aw, thanks. It was a dreamy kind of painting, I think. Yes to finding interconnections!

A beautiful series that pulls out an essence of the painting (for me). I counted the horses too (a few times).

Something about the composition…I wasn’t sure which part of which horse I was looking at!

Yes it is a bit of a visual tangle.

I haven’t been able to leave comments this past week, but I’ll try again now the ban has been lifted. What I liked most in this set is the use of colour. So apt given the subject.

Thanks, Jane. It was an inspiring piece–so much color and movement.

Ooh! I love that final stanza, the dreamy-ness, the thread of colours held together by brackets. Lovely!

I thought of you when I was messing with the brackets. 🙂 They were moving around, trying to get comfortable…

I can’t tell you how happy that makes me 🙂 In an extremely nerdy way, I’m very glad punctuation calls me to mind! And I know exactly what you mean about them getting comfortable.
