This! This gave me shivers. Great to read first thing in the morning. I especially love the rhyme in “howl then / crow them” and the idea of a soul-shout. Wonderful!

This was so encouraging, because once again I felt soooo stuck. And this is nowhere near my first attempts at anything for the day. At that moment of despair, things broke open, just a bit.

I agree. This has a great rhythm and pace. My favorite was the image of the voice ‘slipping’.
