Perennial

Tall grasses, hostas
shed drab-tattered winter coats;
birds need nest ribbons.

    1. Thank you. So lucky we had a nice, get out and grub in the garden day on Saturday. The birds have been after those ribbons for a few days now.

      1. I was so disappointed our first spring. They had one overgrown sickly hosta and… forsythia and …maybe two tulips. No crocus, no daffodils, no hyacinths, no wood hyacynths…barren! And I planted bulbs last year for this year and I think the damn rodents at them all!
