Your atoms have danced
through the heart
of the sun
flashing
achingly golden
We will spin and flare
there again
unknowable words
in flame-bright
song
Your atoms have danced
through the heart
of the sun
flashing
achingly golden
We will spin and flare
there again
unknowable words
in flame-bright
song
I love the optimism conveyed with this poem. Nicely done Jennifer.

I love the first metaphor:
“Your atoms have danced
through the heart
of the sun”. It is a very pertinet metaphor, because it is TRUE, we are made of dust, dust of stars… and yes indeed, our atoms once danced through the heart of the sun. When you think to it, you can feel a spiritual vertigo that is … breathtaking. So, a breathtaking poem dear Jennifer 🙂 ♥
